The MRC Cognition and Brain Sciences Unit is a research centre based at the University of Cambridge that aims to advance our understanding of human cognition and brain function. As well as fundamental cognitive neuroscience, our research programmes cover areas such as childhood development, mental health, ageing and dementias, and neurological and sensory disorders.
The Unit is committed to Open Science, and since 2006 we have endeavoured to make all our publications available to as wide an audience as possible. You can find a list of our publications, in many cases including links to full text articles, in our online bibliography. Many of our recent papers are also available as preprints on sites such as BioRXiv.
Where possible within ethical and legal constraints, we are also committed to sharing anonymised research data, and since 2017 all CBU publications have their raw data and analysis scripts stored in our Data Repository. Requests for those data or scripts can be made after finding the relevant publication on our online bibliography or directly via the Data Repository inventory
This site is intended to develop our commitment open access, and to provide a central place where data collected at the Unit can be made available to other researchers
If this is your first visit to the site, you can learn how to request access to the data here. You can browse all of the available projects here
